Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Long and Short Review Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge, where bloggers write on a common theme every Wednesday. This is my second year participating. Today’s topic is my favorite podcast.
I have favorites I would love to share with you. The first is Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me, a weekly podcast that replays the NPR’s weekly comedy news show. It is a great way to laugh yourself through the news, which helps the medicine go down. It also puts celebrities on the spot, which can be really charming, and they include a very wide range of who they consider a celebrity, and engage listeners in a wide variety of ways. I used to listen to it on the radio every Sunday when taking my daughter to Sunday school, and then had the podcast when those weekly trips stopped. This is my lifeline when the news gets tough, which now seems like that’s always.
My second favorite is much newer. Its called Money Reimagined which is a podcast put out by CoinDesk. I wanted to learn more about Crypto, and blockchain. I tried a lot of podcasts but most were pitched at insiders, and its a hard world to get your head around. This podcast really looks at the wider changes that crypto and blockchain are pushing (not just the investment side), and very informative, and accessible to someone like me, who is a real novice. If you are interested in this topic, I would recommend it.

They both sound super interesting. I haven’t listened to any NPR stuff in ages, but I used to like it a lot.
And cryptocurrency is both fascinating and a little confusing to me. I’m sure that podcast would help. 🙂
