Hello Everyone! Welcome to the Long and Short Review Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge, where bloggers write on a common theme every Wednesday. This is my second year participating. Today’s topic is weirdest foods I love.
I don’t know if this counts as weird or not, but the food I love that very few people I know even venture to try is chocolate made with chili or other hot peppers. I tried it on a whim the first time I saw it in a store, and its been a love affair ever since. I enjoy how how the extreme spice adds that bite into the sweet. It works in chocolate bars, in hot chocolate, in anything chocolate really.
Her is my latest favorite.
Please visit the other bloggers participating in the Long and Short Wednesday Blogging Challenge. I always enjoy learning from them and with them.

I have never tried spicy chocolate before! I’m glad you like it. 🙂
…Okay, I guess that qualifies as “weird”. I mean, it also sounds pretty good, but that’s at least an unusual choice. I had real trouble coming up with anything that seemed to qualify.
I’ll have to give that a try…. I love chocolate and I love spicy…. so it sounds like a match made in heaven!
I would definitely try that once! I love when two foods, that normally wouldn’t go together, marry well. When I went to California for business, I found out I love mango (cut to look almost like a pineapple fruit) with chili powder sprinkled on it. The sweet and spicy are incredible!!! It’s like a party in my mouth! LOL!
I have heard of mixing hot chocolate with cinnamon and peppers. I like dark chocolate and spicy so I’m going to has to give this one a try.
My partner loves chili chocolate, and so many people rave about it – I have a pesky capsaicin allergy which stops me from trying it. I loved it when Cadbury did a chocolate bar that had a Tuc cracker in them, the combo of the salty crunch with the smooth chocolate was fantastic
