It would be hard for anyone of us to separate our identity from our memories. Given what we’ve learned about the relationship between emotion and memory, that makes the importance of memory to identity even more poignant.  This may be why stories of amnesia fascinate us–it allows us to explore identity in the absence of memory.  For today’s post, I’m going to share a series of images that I believe allow us to visualize this critical relationship.
