Its Wednesday and the day for the Long and Short Reviews Wednesday Weekly Blog Challenge. This week’s challenge is my fantasy vacation. When I thought about it, I realized that for me, the key is not where to go, but how it plays out. In my fantasy vacation, I would not have to lift a finger to do anything. Here is what it would look like:
- Excellent food prepared and brought to me in a suite of rooms that had a balcony overlooking exceptional views. Water would be in my line of sight.
- Drivers. I would be taken to and picked up from restaurants (private rooms of course) and activities.
- Daily massages.
- Private tour guides and viewings. For example, when I was in Paris, I had to fight my way through seas of tourists to get a 15 second view of the Mona Lisa, which is a really small picture by the way. I want access, and the comfort to take photos, not have to be elbowed out of the way by the next tourist angling for their 15 second view.
- A sauna in my suite of rooms.

Being pampered is the best way to enjoy a vacation. thanks for the tip on the Mona Lisa, if I ever visit the Louvre I’ll know to skip it.
