Humor and the role of laughter is a human characteristic. While this may not be the mechanics of world-building per se, how worlds play upon the human condition (or whatever species you are building) is very much part of how the world works, and how beings survive in it. For this post, I am going explore the impact of humor in the world through a series of 10 quotes. I start with William Hazlitt, because its his quote that initially got me thinking about the role of laughter and humor when creating world.
