The Ted website is one of my favorite places to start any research endeavor. Short, sharp presentations provide a great, energizing start to journey down a new road. If your are lucky, someone has already created a video playlist on your topic of choice.
Memory is one of those topics. For example the complexity of memory playlist contains the following collection of talks.
- How Reliable is Your Memory? Elizabeth Loftus
- The Riddle of Experience vs Memory. Daniel Kahneman
- Feats of Memory Anyone Can Do. Joshua Foer
- How Your “Working Memory” Makes Sense of the World. Peter Doolittle
- How Your Brains Tells You Where You Are. Neil Burgess
- Why Eyewitnesses Get it Wrong. Scott Fraser
- A Mouse. A Laser Beam. A Manipulated Memory. Steve Ramirez & Xu Liu
