This is a hard one for me. I find real joy in figuring out the perfect book for someone I know who loves to read. So I challenged myself to come up with ten ideas. Here we go.
- The movie version or versions of well-loved books or favorite authors. For example, buy Blade Runner for a Philip K. Dick Fan.
- A subscription to the New York Times Review of Books, to help them navigate the world of books.
- A collection of interesting or eye-popping bookmarks that reflect the persons interests.
- A movie poster or book poster of a favorite story.
- A cozy throw to cuddle in when reading their favorite book.
- A personalized mug or t-shirt of the person reading their favorite book.
- A donation to a reading or literacy charity in their name.
- A kindle to facilitate reading.
- A unique reading light or lamp — that’ s very cool or interesting or literary.
- Pillows to sit on or hold a book on or cuddle with — ideally with some type of literary image or quote.
And one more for good luck.
11. Wine, coffee and tea selections to to enjoy while they are reading.
