So much of our mind’s work takes place in the unconscious mind.  In the shadows we can’t easily grasp outside dreams and intuition and momentary perceptions, the wheels are always churning–keeping our skills in auto-drive, processing information into memory and reforming it filters that circumscribe our existing knowledge base. It also harbors our hidden fears, beliefs, prejudices and biases which influence how we see  ourselves and others and interpret external events.  In some ways, the purpose of psychology helps us bring these fears and intuitions into the light. Our creativity and our rationality are probably hidden in there too.

Perhaps one of  the best way to investigate this is through visual form.
