Happy Sunday and its time for SexySnippets, where authors share 7-8 lines/sentences of a book or work in progress.  My sexy new science fiction romance, Race to Redemption(Green Rising Book #1) released late last year from Evernight Publishing.

This scene continues from my last snippet and the snippet before that, where Erik needs Lainie’s piloting skills to fly him through a storm to help a child they both love, but she was fighting it. She still is.  Elaina’s last line was “You trust me enough to do this?” Say yes.

“I have no other choice.” He pushed his hair off his face.

With a level twenty, he didn’t. She was the only game in town.

“Sen won’t make it if we don’t.” He leaned into her, the heat of him a threat to her sanity.

“Your company’s better than running mining machinery. When do we leave?”

“Now. Racer’s outside.”

“So sure of yourself?”

“You can’t say no to Sen.”

Yeah, he had her, but then he always had.
