A rose by any other name might smell as sweet, but you might not know what it is.  That’s why I try and title my books as a kind of short hand for the central premise or theme of the book.  Take a look at how it all works.

Shifter Trials refers to a marathon that a shifter must win if he is to win the hand of the clan alpha.  For her, the trials represent both freedom and entrapment because she does not want an enforced, political marriage.  As long as she wins, she does not have to marry, but it keeps her on the treadmill of obsessive training. Trials signal to me the back and forth, where there are two sides and you have to get to one conclusion.

Race to Redemption, is a science fiction romance, that features a female storm racer. Throughout the book, she and her hero, have to stay one step ahead of a rival federation as they find themselves in a race (several really) across the desert to fight a deadly phage. Both hero and heroine desperately seek redemption from their past. This title captures these two images (racing and redemption) perfectly.

Unnatural Allies, which releases in April,  is exactly what it sounds like.  A rat shifter and wolf shifter are forced to work together, and their beasts fight it every step of the way.  Predator and pray don’t play well in the sandbox.
