Reviewing the Reviews #MFRWauthor #amwriting

Welcome to Marketing for Romance Authors 52 week blog hop challenge.  Each week, a lovely group of romance authors blog on a common theme. Visit them all here.

I get to brag. I'm going to use this post to share the glorious reviews of my first science fiction romance Race to Redemption.  One of challenges of writing is that not all books sell the way we hope they do. Even those with good reviews.  Race to Redemption is the book I'm most proud of, of the nine I've written.

Amazon average score:  4.8 out of five stars

Goodreads average score: 4.75 out of five stars

TBR Pile This is a perfect treat if you’re in the mood for excellent world building, sexy characters and a heartwarming story with spaceships.

Whiskey with My Book Race to Redemption qualifies as a gem.... Elder really knows her craft. In other words, she can write. Well....This story is truly imaginative and quite exciting.

Uncaged Book Reviews If you like a Sci Fi with suspense, action, danger and a hot romance, you should pick this one up.

Thanks for letting me brag.

I was thrilled to get them. Reviews keep me going, even when sales are not stellar.
  2. Congrats on the good reviews! It always makes you feel good when others appreciate and love the story as much as you do.

Yes, it really does, especially when someone is willing to blog about it.
  3. It's so humbling when a book doesn't do as well as an author thinks it will, but so glorious when it's a hit! Congratulations on your successes!

So true, but its also frustrating when the reviewers like it but the readers don't buy it. :)

      Thanks, Sherry.
  5. I think every author always wants her books to sell more. And it is frustrating when you don't get all the reviews / sales / dreams you wished for. But congrats on the stars you have gathered.

Thanks, Ed. Much appreciated it. The SFRom world is small but strong.
  7. Bet that boosted your confidence:) I love it when a book I've poured my heart and soul into receives favorable reviews:) Congrats! As a fellow Sci-Fi Rom author, I'm going to put this on my TBB list.
