Fluffy Chickens #MFRWauthor #amwriting

Welcome to Marketing for Romance Authors 52 week blog hop challenge.  Each week, a lovely group of romance authors blog on a common theme. Visit them all here.

What makes me laugh.  My daughter, more than anyone else, knows how to tickle my funny bone. Her wit is unexpected and as a teen-ager its very random.

Like a passion for fluffy chickens.

Or inserting chinchilla references in appropriate places to elicit snickers and snorts (funny animal pictures work on me pretty well too.).

  1. I've never seen chickens like that, but your post reminded me of a laugh my daughter and I shared: we went to see Twilight together and laughed like crazy at all the teenage girls in the audience around us oohing and ahhing every time one of the heroes strutted out. I still chuckle about that!

I've never seen these chickens in real life, but found them on the internet. They are called Silkie chickens. Its great to have memories of laughing with our kids, those stay with us.
  2. I've never seen a fluffy chicken. My teen's sense of humor leans more towards the sarcastic. It's probably my fault as it's a standard form of communication in the house. My poor 9yr old doesn't really get sarcasm though, but we're working on it. LOL

My teen does sarcasm too. A little irony and a lot of random.
  3. Those fluffy chickens look pretty cute, but I suppose an unexpected pic of them would make you laugh. I have a pic of my dog attacking the air from the leaf blower which cracks me up every single time I look at it, lol.

My daughter tries to stage the funny pet pics. That rarely works although the process can be a hoot.
  4. Funny animal pictures always crack me up, too.

My daughter tries to create them with our pets. The process is usually funnier than the pic itself.
  5. I've never seen a fluffy chicken. They're kinda cute in a weird sorta way.

Yeah, they are. I thought my daughter made up the idea of fluffy chickens, until we actually found them.
  6. Fluff chickens, eh? Can you imagine what a mess they'd make when plucked? Oh, wait ... you mean they're pets?
  7. funny post. I love funny animal pics too!
